We have formed for the purpose of revisiting Classic World of Warcraft content using toons of the appropriate level.
We will officially raid one night a week, Saturday evenings from 7:30 to 11:30 server time. As many of us have level capped mains in current raid content it is possible that there won't be many on in Guild at any given time, for this reason I ask all Members to /join YearsBehind channel when not on their guilded toons in order to facilitate communication.
There will be no restrictions placed on gear, enchants or talent points when raiding with the group, all that is required is to remain level 60. We expect to use the upcoming feature to lock our experience gain. If the gold cost of this feature is an issue, don't be shy, there are many in the group with deep pockets and I'm sure an accomadation can be reached.
Loot from our kills will be distributed on a nightly basis with limited if any bookeeping, just main spec rolls should suffice. I do NOT want to experience ANY loot drama of any sort. Any drama will be dealt with harshly and immediately.
That aside, I expect the members of the raid to spend at least some time during the week outside of raids improving their toons. There are many very good items available through questing, rep grinds and PvP that are as good as anything in T2 or AQ. The bank is accessible to all members, please don't abuse it. If you wish to take an item, feel free, but please don't just grab stuff to vendor/AH, as people are working hard to keep the bank stocked with goodies.
Belghast and <House Stalwart> have graciously donated the use of their Ventrillo server for our raids. Info will be forthcoming. Please refrain from using this vent at other times without express permission from a HS member.

by Belghast on July 30, 2009, 11:38:39 amIf you are interested in running some old world content one night a week on level 60 toons, start getting them ready now.
Shortly after the release of patch 3.2 I will be running a group of 25+ level 60s on the old fashioned raids.
I'm not going to be all purist about it, any talent specs, enchants and gear availble now or in the future to level 60 toons will be welcome. The only caveat is you must either lock the toon at 60 via the upcoming feature or prevent leveling in some other way, lvl 61+ will not be welcome.
I'll even take Death Knights (you'd gasp if you knew how I felt about DKs, but anyway...).
I will be playing a *omg* Warrior! (who woulda thunk it?).
If you'd like to join in this enterprise post here, pst me in game or contact me in any other fashion.
